The golden trumpet tree (Tabebuia chrysotricha) is considered the national tree of Brazil. Known in Portuguese as ipê amarelo, this evergreen tree is rich in nectar and blooms in the Brazilian spring. Here are some beautiful specimens in full bloom in the streets of the national capital this week.
