Axé Music Queen Daniela Mercury and her wife, journalist Malu Verçosa Mercury, have been chosen as the Brazilian faces of Free & Equal, a United Nations campaign for LGBT equality. Mercury launched the campaign’s official Brazil video at a Free & Equal event held Friday at the UN headquarters in New York.

After the launch, the Mercurys sealed their call for equality with a bold kiss.

The video features never-before-seen footage of the Mercurys’ 2013 wedding. The song, “Maria Casaria,” celebrates love between two women and will be available in Vinil Virtual, Mercury’s 10th studio album to be released on Nov. 27. Daniela Mercury pushes the envelope again on the album cover, posing in the buff with her wife.
